But how do you go about creating the ideal culture for your business, even when you have team members working remotely? Consistently Checking in with Employees

As you implement the new policies that will create the business culture you’ve envisioned, check in to make sure you’re headed in the right direction. Are employees feeling more motivated? Do people seem to be collaborating more effectively? Have there been changes in efficiency and productivity? The easiest way to answer these questions is by simply shooting your employees an email asking for their perspective. After all, your employees are the ones that will notice any changes firsthand. Even beyond the policy implementation phase, be sure to create space for your employees to express their wants and needs consistently. This could be regularly scheduled video chats and phone calls or sending out an email every so often inviting feedback.
