  • Sharon Lewis

    Coach

As a project manager with 25 years corporate experience, Sharon Lewis became an AdviCoach Owner and Principal Operator in Connecticut and Rhode Island to fulfill a desire to help business owners maximize the potential of their business, achieve their Income, Lifestyle, Wealth and Equity goals, and to support the local economy. Her burning desire is to leave things better than she found them!

Sharon is an advocate for making work support lifestyle goals and would like to see all business owners find that sweet spot. As a business coach she finds that business owners often don’t have a support team and no one to talk to about their business. She provides space and time to learn, discuss ideas and create plans for the business, allowing the owner to get out of the day-to-day details, think about the big picture and develop their business. Sharon works face to face with business owners in Middlesex, New Haven and New London Counties and virtually with business leaders in other areas. Sharon is active in her local business organizations- Old Saybrook Chamber of Commerce as a Board member since 2017; Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce as an Ambassador since 2018; a Madison based BNI chapter in various leadership roles; and represents her town of Essex on the Middlesex County Revitalization Commission. In 2020 she was recognized by the Small Business Association as the Connecticut Home-Based Business of the Year; and by the Old Saybrook Chamber with the annual Women of Excellence Award. She contributes to her local community in her Board of Directors positions for the Ivoryton LIbrary Association (VP 2021; Pres 2022-?); Ivoryton Village Association (VP 2020-?); and most recently joined the Rockfall Foundation.

“I want to stand as close to the edge as I can without going over. Out on the edge you see all the kinds of things you can't see from the center.”

    Kurt Vonnegut

What do you think of the Kurt Vonnegut quote above? It’s one of my favorites and I feel it often describes business owners and how they live their lives. If you are living safely in the center and need to get out of your comfort zone to re-energize your business, business coaching may be the way to go. If you’re a little too close to that edge for comfort, business coaching can give you a different perspective on your business and help you find the right balance.

As a project manager with 25 years corporate experience, I became an AdviCoach Owner and Principal Operator in 2015 to fulfill a desire to help business owners maximize the potential of their business, achieve their Income, Lifestyle, Wealth and Equity goals, and to support the local economy I have coached and led high-performing product development teams with annual budgets in excess of $85M and find that the tools and processes that large corporations use are very applicable to small businesses as well. They can help streamline your business and increase your profitability. My business expertise includes:

    • Mentoring
    • Team Building and Effectiveness
    • Budget Development
    • Organizational Effectiveness
    • Change Management and Process Implementation
    • Strategic Planning
    • New Product Development
    • Risk Assessment and Contingency Planning
